Amy graduated from University College Cork/ Cork University Hospital in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) in General Nursing in 2016. She joined the HRB CRF-C in December 2018 as a Clinical Research Nurse. Prior to her research career, Amy worked in Gerontological Nursing, caring for older adults and their families, both in the acute and community settings.
Amy also holds a Masters degree in Public Health, graduating from UCC in 2018. In 2017, she worked as a Research Assistant with UCC Health Matters – a health promoting initiative in the University for both students and staff – as a work placement student.
Amy is involved in many academic/ commercial clinical trials in the CRF-C, across a range of disciplines including cardiology and neurology.
